Mountains of cucumbers, radishes, pumpkins and onions are on sale everywhere. The Spreewald is the home of the Sorbs - one of the smallest Slavic tribes. The culture and language has been passed down from generation to generation and is still very apparent today in the form of bilingual signs and notices.
